This web site was created by a group of concerned citizens, including attorneys who have appeared before Referee Earl Frederick Beddow.  We believed that by documenting the practices and behaviors of Referee Beddow to the public, a positive change would have to be made.  We were wrong.  Referee Beddow's practices, which have included per se violations of the Judicial Canons as well as bias, racial prejudice and discrimination, continue unabated.  We had hoped that Referee Beddow would receive help for what appear to be severe mental problems, so that he could no longer continue to harm and abuse children and families.  This has not happened yet, and Referee Beddow should be thankful for the system that supports him.  The public should not, particularly since we are not able to vote "Judge" Beddow in or out of office.  Since February 20, 2004, this web site has been viewed by more than 100,000 people worldwide.  Numerous victims of Referee Beddow's courtroom, including men and women, have come forth to describe the events that they and their children have suffered in the "Star Chamber".  Yet Referee Beddow, who has been serving at the "pleasure" of Ramsey County's chief judges for far too long, remains. Ultimately, the problem is that Referee Beddow represents a system that is destructive, one which promotes divorce and child custody turmoil so that it can profit and fatten itself with blood money. A system that has components that have been shown at this web site for more than two years to be a sham.  They include a Board on Judicial Standards that dares to state that the Judicial Canons don't matter, and an Appeals Court that does nothing but uphold egregious decisions from those like Referee Beddow as it shields them with "great deference". It is clear that Referee Beddow's legacy will be that of a destructive laughingstock.  He has tried for years to become a real judge, but remains relegated to the family court "boiler room" as a hack referee with a pathetic personal life that he seems to want to inflict on others.  In this position the damage done is great, but the exposure is veiled in the comfort of secrecy provided by tools that include Referee Beddow's gag orders, used to hide the incompetence of him and his lackeys.  It would appear that the 1st Amendment is foreign here. The reality of Referee Beddow is that, in spite of what he represents, he has helped to inspire the growth of a civil rights movement in America that will cause reform to be made.  Decent people will no longer allow people like Earl Beddow to put his wicked, false-god menace on children, families and society.  In much the same way that Hitler brought the Allies to Europe to confront and defeat the Axis powers, Referee Beddow has brought Fathers-4-Justice to America to help defeat a system that is destroying our society.  For that we should almost thank him.  Justice is coming...
